For starters, I'm guessing it will be easy to create 1-player scenarios with easy to write AIs.

The "Thing from the sump" scenario seems perfect: (just google "Thing from the sump", or type www dot google dot com /url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CCUQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Ffiles.sigil.biz%2Fdata%2Fbitu_it_came_from_the_sump.pdf&ei=VG4HT_HKN8n10gGW0uWiAg&usg=AFQjCNHKadYpa69uHVi-UbvyXdtcyI3VGQ

Just treat it as if the thing from thing from the sump always has the "feeding frenzy".
